Information for researchers

TSS extends a warm welcome to academics, researchers, and policy makers from both Belgium and abroad to use the TSS panel for their research projects. The panel offers a broad range of opportunities to study diverse topics within the social and behavioral sciences. Researchers conducting studies using the TSS panel will have exclusive access to the collected data for their specific study. After a period of 12 months, the data will be published in the SODHA archive, becoming available for use by other researchers upon completion of a data use agreement.

TSS administers a yearly core study questionnaire that captures essential socio-demographic, behavioral, and attitudinal information among all panel members. The core study questionnaire aims to make available this data to the scientific community, minimizing the need for commissioned questionnaires to repeat basic inquiries (e.g., education level and household composition).

For the remaining questionnaire space, researchers from all scientific disciplines can apply to field their own surveys. For detailed information on the application process to access the panel for data collection and how to effectively utilize the data, we encourage you to visit our dedicated researchers’ website. This website will provide comprehensive guidance and support for utilizing the TSS panel in your research projects.

“Research is formalized curiosity.
It is poking and prying with a purpose.”
